Nabalco Board Visit

Chief Minister Shane Stone hosted a special dinner in the Parliamentary Dining Room for the International Board of Alusuisse-Lonza including Chairman Theodor Tschopp (Gove Joint Venture). Chief Minister Stone acknowledging Ed Notter who had a long and distinguished career in the Aluminium Industry in Australia, Germany and Switzerland. He is best known for his involvement in the development and management of the Gove bauxite and alumina plant in the Northern Territory. He was the former CEO of Swiss Aluminium Australia and Chairman of Nabalco as well as the Gove Joint Venture before retiring to full-time farming in 2001.Deputy Chief Minister Mike Reed seated.
