The official opening of EXPO 97 by Deputy Prime Minister and Trade Minister the Honourable Tim Fisher MP. From right to left the Honourable Nick Dondas MP, Federal Member, Senator the Honourable Grant Tambling, Senator for the NT and Parliamentary Secretary, the Honourable Tony Rundle MHR, Premier of Tasmania, Chief Minister Shane Stone and Josephine Stone, Datin Yong Stella and YB Datuk Yong Teck Lee, Chief Minister of Sabah. EXPO 97 International Pavilion named for former Chief Minister Marshall Perron.
