Lombok visit hosted by Governor Wasito

NT Minister for Asian Relations and Trade the Honourable Shane Stone made a private visit to the Indonesia Province of West Nusa Tenggara (known in English as Lombok). The Province is an Indonesian island east of Bali and west of Sumbawa known for picturesque beaches and prime surf. Nearby by are the Gili Islands (Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Gili Meno). Shane Stone was accompanied by his family and a number of Territorians. The group stayed at the Sheraton Senggigi Beach Resort. Governor Wasito hosted the group to a number of social events including a fashion parade by local Indonesia students participating in IATVEP: Indonesia-Australia Technical and Vocational Education Project managed by the Northern Territory Department of Education & Training on behalf of AUSAid.
