Shane Stone and John Mousellis foredeck of HM Britianna the former Royal yacht moored on permanent display Edinburgh Scotland since decommissioning in 1997. Her Majesty's Yacht Britannia, also known as the Royal Yacht Britannia, is the former royal yacht of the British monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, in service from 1954 until 1997. A ship's bell is used to indicate the time aboard a ship and hence to regulate the sailors' duty watches. The bell itself is usually made of brass or bronze, and normally has the ship's name engraved or cast on it as is the case here. Note the Monarch's Coat of Arms above the ships bell.
