President Zhang Zemin of the Peoples Republic of China

In 1985 Zhang Zemin became Mayor of Shanghai, and subsequently the Party Chief of Shanghai. Served as General Secretary of the CPC 1989-2002; President of PRC 1993-2003; Chairman of the Military Commission 1989-2005 before retiring. Strong believer in LNG as a fuel stock of the future he favoured Australia's NW Shelf.
