Northern Australia Advisory Group meeting with the Prime Minister the Honourable Tony Abbott MP Parliament House Canberra. The Advisory Group was set up by the Abbott Government to advise the Strategic Partnership for Northern Australia—comprising the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, Premiers of Western Australia (WA) and Queensland (QLD), and the Chief Minister the Northern Territory (NT)— established to provide national leadership in developing strategies to support the growth of northern Australia aligned with the national interest. The Advisory Group included Mr. Wayne Bergmann; Professor Scott Bowman; Mr. Jack Burton; Dr. Ken Chapman; Professor Sandra Harding; Mrs. Noeline Ikin; Mr. David Menzel; Mr. Nicholas Paspaley AC; Mr. Trent Twomey; Mr. Ken Warriner AM; Mr. Djawa Yunupingu.
