‘The Hadley Bowling Green Inn’, Worcestershire

April 1995

‘The Hadley Bowling Green Inn’ adjoining the Grade II listed Elizabethan Inn. At that time owned by old friends Pauline and Tony Richards from Alice Springs (formerly from this part of the UK) they had undertaken extensive renovations and successfully introduced elements of Australian hospitality for which they had been famed in the Northern Territory and Palm Cove North Queensland. The Inn hosts one of the oldest Crown Bowling Green and Clubs in the country. Queen Elizabeth I reportedly engaged the sport of the aristocracy as it then was during a visit.
