NT News 'Can-Mountain Man Now Honourable'. Media coverage of the appellation the Honourable conferred on former CLP Ministers Fred Finch and Roger Steele. Previous recipients named as Paul Everingham, Roger Vale and Tom Harris. Criticised by Syd Stirling he later petitioned the Administrator which in turn was referred by the Governor General to the Crown for the same appellation following his retirement.
