50th Anniversary of the opening of R.G Menzies House

Daughter of Sir Robert Menzies Mrs. Heather Henderson special guest of honour photographed with the Hon Shane Stone former Federal President of the Liberal Party with a bronze bust of Sir Robert Menzies. Miniature busts of the same have been cast to mark high-level Party Awards including the Outstanding Service Award and Honorary Life Membership. The occasion marked the 50th Anniversary of the opening of the Federal Liberal Party Secretariat R.G Menzie House by Sir Robert Menzies in 1965. Former Federal Presidents in attendance Mr. John Valder CBE and the Hon Tony Staley AO. Prime Minister the Hon Malcolm Turnbull was also in attendance to mark the occasion and spoke of the Menzies legacy.
