High Commissioner's Banquet

The 2016 High Commissioners’ Banquet hosted by The Royal Commonwealth Society and the City of London Corporation at the Guildhall. Private Group Audience with Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh followed by a Reception, thereafter the High Commissioners' Banquet. Richard Mawhinney presented to the Queen by The Right Honourable The Lord Howell of Guildford, President of the Royal Commonwealth Society. Husband of Baroness Scotland of Asthal PC QC who served as the Attorney General for England and Wales and Advocate General for Northern Ireland. At the 2015 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting Baroness Scotland was elected the 6th Secretary-General of the Commonwealth of Nations and took office on 1 April 2016. Baroness Scotland also serves as a Councillor City of London (hence the red robe of office). Baroness Scotland presented to the Queen by Richard Mawhinney,
