Chinese Timorese Association Club Opening

The official opening of the Chinese Timorese Association Club by Chief Minister Shane Stone. Ethnic Chinese represent an important sector of the Darwin community. Mainly from southern China, they travelled through the Indonesian archipelago to Australia over the decades. Chinese remain important to the economies of East Timor and the Eastern Provinces of Indonesia.
