NT EXPO 1997 Courtesy Call South African High Commissoner

During successive EXPO's Canberra based Heads of Mission (Ambassadors and High Commissioners) travelled to Darwin to experience first-hand Australia's pre-eminent trade show styled NT EXPO engaging the Asia-Pacific region. They were progressively joined by Premiers and Chief Ministers of other jurisdictions and the Trade Ministers Ministerial Council. His Excellency the High Commissioner for South Africa Bhadra Ranchod presenting Chief Minister Shane Stone with a copy of the new South African Constitution. EXPO 97 International Pavilion named for former Chief Minister Marshall Perron.
