Correspondence from Mr Michael Chin, following the retirement of Shane Stone as Chief Minister of Australia's Northern Territory. Extensive mail, fax and telephone messages were received from throughout the Territory and from Australia wide, hence, a small selection of the correspondence has been included in the archives. Extract: "Your retirement is a great loss, as I believe you did an outstanding job not only within the Northern Territory but also in representing the Northern Territory's interests on the national and international stages...Thank you for the courtesies and consideration to the members of our community and our family, particularly my mother, and your responsiveness and accessibility throughout your period as our elected Member and as Chief Minister''.
