RMC Duntroon 50 year anniversary Class of 1969
Publication of a brief history of the Class of 1969 Royal Military College Duntroon. The reunion and celebration of the Class of 1969 acknowledged those who started as well as celebrating those who graduated. Shane Stone was among those who started but did not remain, leaving RMC on the successful completion of his orientation and basic training at Point Hutt. Shane Stone's entries are on pages iv (list of classmates) and 114 (biographical entry). He has maintained intermittent contact with various classmates. In later years having served in the CMF (Army Reserve) following departure from RMC, he graduated from HMAS Creswell Royal Australian Naval Reserve Officer Course as a seamen officer. Commander the Hon Shane L Stone RANR AC QC dinned out in 2016, at age 66 following Army and Navy service.
